VERIZON ANNOUNCES LTE AND DEVICES
Newly appointed Verizon president and COO, Lowell McAdam took the stage at CTIA 2010 today and announced that they have 38 cities ready to launch with LTE, all they have to do is flip the switch. This is up from the 30 football cities that were announced a few weeks ago. He also talked about a bunch of new LTE devices that will be debuting at CES in January. "Come CES at January, and we will show half-a-dozen smartphones and tablets from the top OEMs in the world that will be available in the first half of the year" said Lowell. [Engadget]
