The mysterious, often talked about but never seen, white iPhone 4 has been spotted in the wild. The fabled device was announced back with the original iPhone 4, but never made it into production. It has been rumored the reason it never made it into mass production was because Apple had two suppliers making the buttons and glass front/back and they could never get the colors consistent across the supplies. The shade and translucentcy never passed Apple's quality control and it was never approved for distribution. [
