Apple's recently launched Macbook Air is shipping without Adobe Flash pre-installed. According to Apple spokesman Bill Evans, we better get use to it. While Macbooks support Flash, Apple wants to make sure users have the most up to date version. Evans states "We're happy to continue to support Flash on the Mac, and the best way for users to always have the most up to date and secure version is to download it directly from Adobe."
This will apparently be the norm from now on across the entire Mac lineup, although there may be some devices in the channel with Flash pre-installed. What do you think about this? Let us know in the comments section. [Engadget]
