GOOGLE'S GINGERBREAD IMMINENT RELEASE?

Google has officially recognized what everyone has known for awhile, Gingerbread is the next official release of its Android mobile OS.  Google placed the Gingerbread statue on its campus lawn yesterday, joining previous release statues donut, eclair and frozen yogurt (froyo) along with a big green robot.  Generally, Google does not place the statue until the release has hit a major milestone and release usually follows soon after. So, will we see a Gingerbread release next month?  Hopefully so.  We will be scrouring the internet for rumors and leaks as always so check back often as things may develop and release quickly.
