When Apple launched the first iPhone way back when and announced they planned on selling 10 million per year, everyone scoffed at the idea. Now they are shipping 14.1 million handsets every three months according to the latest IDC report. These number moves Apple from fifth to fourth place worldwide, overtaking RIM.
