AT&T and T-Mobile have each inked 10-year deals with Transit Wireless (TW) to use TW's new wireless deployment in 277 subway terminals. This is great news for all subway commuters since they can't get signals inside most terminals and if they do, it is generally fleeting. TW recently secured an additional round of financing which is allowing the company to build the network, restarting a project that was begun three years ago. There is no official word on when service will become available. [BBR]
