Facebook and Microsoft's Bing have teamed up to introduce a "social search" engine where Facebook friends and their 'likes' are factored into the search results. If you search for restaurants or museums, some of the search results will represent your friends "likes". If you search for people, those with the most connections to you will rise to the top of the results.
If you logged into Facebook and visit Bing with the browser, you will get a pop-up asking if you want to participate. If you agree, your results will use the new social engine. If you decline, you get the regular results. This does bring up some privacy questions. Bing executives explain "Bing can see no more about you than anyone who goes to your Facebook page can see," and, additionally, "What you search on Bing doesn't get sent to Facebook." so there shouldn't be any issues.
