RUMOR: FACEBOOK CREATING OWN PHONE

Gizmodo is citing a blog entry by Michael Arrington of Techcrunch that states Facebook is working on it's own phone.  According to Arrington, Facebook will be creating the OS while outsourcing the hardware portion.  According to the blog two Facebook employees, Joe Hewitt (Firefox browser creator) and Matthew Papakipos (Chrome OS builder), are hard at work to create the OS for the phone which will integrate Facebook friends, updates and locations better than is done in Android or any other platform.
