At an investor's conference on Thursday, Verizon Chief Executive Ivan Seidenberg denied a CDMA version of the iPhone was in the works and coming to Verizon Wireless. He then stated "We would love to carry [the iPhone] when we get there, but we have to earn it," Seidenberg also told investors "I think 4G will accelerate the process, and any other decisions Apple makes would be fine with us. Hopefully, at some point Apple will get with the program."
So does this mean a LTE compatible iPhone is in the works and will debut on the Verizon network next year as they roll out their LTE deployment? [Ars Technica]
