For the record, NO US network officially has a 4G network, if you look at the official definition by ITU, the international body that examines and creates official specifications. ITU states speeds must reach 100 Mb/second for mobile and 1 Gb/second for fixed services. No provider or technology achieves this yet. So, when you hear 4G that is just marketing speak and has no real meaning. [TMoNews]

AT&T CALLS OUT T-MOBILE ON FACEBOOK
AT&T has reached a new low in the "4G" war of words. Yesterday, they posted a comment on T-Mobile's Facebook page calling out T-Mobile for their recent advertising of their 4G network as the nation's largest. AT&T took issue with the number of customers T-Mobile is claiming for the largest 4G network. T-Mobile in response took a swipe at AT&T speeds, specifically challenging the iPhone to the myTouch 4G in a speed test.
