MOTOROLA 'MOTOPAD' TO USHER IN ANDROID 3.0
Just as Motorola helped Google usher in Android 2.0 with the DROID, the reborn gadgeteer is now seemingly charged with a similar task for Android 3.0. Details for the time being are remarkably slim, but Mobile-Review.com — home of trusted insider Eldar Murtazin — reports that Motorola has been chosen to unveil the upcoming tablet-friendly version of Google’s OS. The device on which Android 3.0 will be revealed is said to have been dubbed MOTOPAD, which is certainly believable albeit remarkably uninspired. The only other detail provided for now is the claim that Motorola’s upcoming Android 3.0 tablet will be a 7-inch offering. [BGR]
