PHILADELPHIA EAGLES STADIUM TO GO GREEN

The Philadelphia Eagles uniforms are green, midnight green actually, and now their stadium will be headed for that color as well. In partnership with SolarBlue the stadium will be adding spiral wind turbines, for 15% of total energy output, and 2,500 solar panels for another 15%. The rest of the energy will come from a biodiesel/natural gas plant. After 20 years the stadium will be able to sell the excess energy back to the grid. [Engadget]
