WORLD'S FASTEST ROLLER COASTER - WITH VIDEO

If you like fast roller coasters you need to head over to Abu Dhabi. They are set to open Ferrari World a new theme park designed around the supercar. The Formula Rossa roller coast has just been completed and is being billed as the world's fastest roller coaster reaching almost 150 MPH in just under 5 seconds. The coaster uses aircraft carrier technology to launch the cars out of the starting position. Riders are required to wear special glasses to reduce the amount of windforce reaching the eyes. There are no loops or corkscrews in the coaster configuration but at 150 MPH who cares!  Check out the video below to get an idea of what it is like to ride this thing. [Geek]
