WINDOWS PHONE 7 SALES DISAPPOINTING
Microsoft has budgeted $500 million to promote their new smartphone operating system, Windows Phone 7 that launched on Monday. Unfortunately, their money couldn't buy any users. According to The Street, who sites a "market research source who tracks phone sales”, Microsoft only sold around 40,000 units on launch day. In comparison Apple sells around 270,000 units per day and Android is around 200,000.
