RUMOR: RED DEAD REDEMPTION MOVIE

Brad Pitt is up for the film role of John Marston, the lead character in Red Dead Redemption, the wildly popular video game.  This isn't Brad's first foray into a western theme having played Jesse James in the movie Assassination of Jesse James.

Showbizspy states "Sources say the hollywood heartthrob is the hot favorite to play renegade John Marston in an epic cowboy shoot-em-up based on the Playstation game."  "This is an exciting project with a great character at the center of it."  "The idea is to make this in the style of an epic Western movie but with a few modern twists."  "Brad is perfect for the role and he is being given first refusal."
