Dell has released it's first US smartphone, the Aero, through AT&T. This $100 (with 2-year contract) Android phone was initially promoted "as the worlds lightest" phone, but has been downgraded to "one of the lightest" smartphones.
The Aero has Android 1.5, with no word on an upgrade to a new version. Internally, it has a 5MP camera with an 8x zoom and up to 32GB microSD memory and a 624Mhz processor with a display of 3.5".
