SANOFI-AVENTIS LAUNCHES BLOOD GLUCOSE METER FOR iPHONE

Sanofi-Aventis (SA) has released a blood glucose meter for the iPhone.  Unlike the LifeScan meter, the SA meter connects directly to the iPhone.  While the device can be used independent of the iPhone, the app that accompanies it will display a lot more information.  The unit and app is expected to run about $80 when launched.
