As of 9:30am local time, two of Egypt's ISPs have turned the internet back on for the country. The Egyptian government shut down internet access after Egyptians started protesting the government en masse. The shut down affected over 80 million people in that country including news organizations. Google and Twitter did release a workaround for the five day outage, which allowed some Egyptians to at least access Twitter.
