Cricket, a low cost mobile service provider, is adding unlimited music downloads to its unlimited data plan. Besides the unlimited music downloads, the new plan will include unlimited text, calling and data.
Cricket customers will have to use the companies Muve Music service, but will have access to full music tracks from the Universal, Warner, Sony, and EMI labels. Free ringtones and ringback tones are also included in the unlimited plan.
Doug Hutcheson, the company’s president and CEO said:
“Cricket was the first to introduce an unlimited wireless rate plan and now we are the first to introduce a new unlimited wireless rate plan that includes unlimited music. With Muve Music, Cricket is bringing together the best of wireless and music in a way no one has ever done before"The new unlimited music plan will launch on the Samsung Suede for only $55 per month. Cricket will officially unveil the plan at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show in January. [BGR]
