AMAZON TO SELL KINDLE "SINGLES"

Calling all aspiring or frustrated writers.  Amazon is looking for people to submit stories between 10,000 - 30,000 words for its new "Kindle Singles" area of the online bookstore.  The length is a few chapters of a typical book or twice the length a New Yorker feature article.  So sharpen up those pencils, fire up that word processor and get to writing and send your masterpiece to digital-publications@amazon.com.
