Just as it did for the iPhone, Apple will be reimbursing those people that purchased the original iPad from February 16th to the present. The reimbursement will appear on your credit card to the tune US $100.
To get the moolah, you will need to head back to the store you purchased it from, with receipt, or if ordered online call Apple's 1-800 number.
