RUMOR: GOOGLE'S GINGERBREAD READY FOR DELIVERY?

A tweet from a Twitter user by the name of Alvaro Fuentes Vasquez (who apparently works on the leadership team of the Open Handset Alliance—a conglomerate of 78 companies working towards open source software, with Android being its flagship launch) claims that people should "Preparen sus Nexus One (Developer version) para la actualización vía OTA de Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) para los próximos días :-D", which according to Google Translate says:

"Prepare your Nexus One (Developer version) for Android OTA update 2.3 (Gingerbread) for the next few days :-D"

We'd previously heard that the Samsung-made Nexus Two would be landing today with Gingerbread, but there are whispers it could be later this week, on Thursday perhaps. [Gizmodo]

RUMOR: GOOGLE NEXUS TWO COMING

Rumors are flying about the Samsung event on November 8th.  One of the most rumored items is Samsung will be announcing the Google Nexus Two.  Unlike the Nexus One, which was manufactured by HTC, the Nexus Two is expected to be sold through various outlets and not just online.  [Geek]

MYSTERY HTC DEVICE HEADED TO VERIZON

Boy Genius Reports has some pictures of a mysterious HTC device reportedly headed to Verizon.  Sources describe the device as very EVO, but in a larger, more polished Nexus One body of brushed aluminum giving it a higher end feel.

From the pictures it appears to be sporting an 8MP camera with dual-LED flash, kickstand, 4.3 inch screen 3.5mm headphone jack and a front facing camera.
