APPLE CONFIRMS WHITE iPHONE

Yesterday we reported about a rumor surrounding the elusive white iPhone 4.  Now, Apple has confirmed the device and it will be released "Spring of next year".  Apple has had numerous delays of the white iPhone due to the inability to match the color across the supply line.  Could Apple be timing the release to coincide with the rumored Verizon iPhone?  Why release it in Spring if a new iPhone will launch in June/July?  Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
